THE FACTS AS WE KNOW THEM: History is repeating itself at this point. Remember 1920s, the roaring twenties? A time of post war prosperity, debauchery, night clubs, and probation? Yeah, 2020s is just the squeakquel, with all the online degeneracy and raisin.
THE HISTORY AS I PREDICT IT: 2030s will have something radical happen, like with the great depression and FDR, and 2040s will have a giant cultural worldwide war come about against the rightists and leftists….and the rightists will win…probably.

Where was that all encompassing Great War? I don't think anyone cares as much about the 1920s as much as they do about World War 1 yet there was no equivalent really within this century despite it being one of the most important events of the century. On top of that, some people wouldn't call this decade very prosperous so far.
