If you grab an electric drill and carve your way far enough through the top of the device, there should be this tiny little key that manually plugs into the charging port. This will automatically unlock the iPhone.

This, also it unlocks a headphone port on newer iPhones like the one you have so if you’re still a boomer who uses wired headphones you can use them now

Apple's activation lock is pretty secure, a jailbreak attempt probably won't do much
Depending on what version of iOS that iPhone has there might not even be an available jailbreak, that iPhone appears to be a XR so it unfortunately can't use the checkm8 exploit (which is hardware level) and there hasn't been a timely jailbreak for an iOS update since iOS 14 and unc0ver, the jailbreaking scene is kind of dead unfortunately

im rather disappointed that i didnt see any "RETURN THE PHONE TYRONE" type responses
i doubt it was a white person's iphone (no aryan has a cracked screen) but still

Yeah, Apples been doing a lot they can, I remember the Cydia app which is practically non-existent now and the creator gave up on updating it
