Have you ever been mistaken for the opposite sex as a kid?

No, I don't ever have a memory of something like that happening. However, the closest thing to a funny instance somewhat similar to that which comes to my immediate memory would be when I and three other guys accidentally stood up from our seats for a split-second during my choir class last week as the director told the alto section to stand (he stuttered and it sounded like he was referring to all of us) and then my buddy I was sitting next to joked to me "Wow, I never knew your range went that high".

On the flipside is this 5 year old that looks very masculine even dressed up as a girl

People think I'm younger than my sister who's 2 years younger than me. I don't think people see me as the opposite sex doe.

Lived in a res so girls had long hair boys had short hair, however i was white so i had hair that at 15 reached sligthly below my shoulders alot of kids thought i was a girl.

I am glad you like my humor! It is funny because it is true. I've heard you are a fan of people of my complexion, perhaps we could meet up? At a bathroom stall in a college maybe?
Speaking of bathroom stalls the BBC provider just said I had a handsome face, I don't think he even knows about my AAP
