The Switch WNBARH, and it is a Wii U but with downgrades related to feature and that denied having good hardware because yes, it has no sovl, not interactive and not funny and a failed project, i do not get anyone who bought it other than Nintendo fanboyism, only like 5 games are good or decent/half-decent but it is only this, and whoever bought it was also later trolled by the current stuff CEOs do

The next thing Nintendo will do will be a Russian roullette tier thing, either they will turn into the gaming version of mid boring designer labels or do what they promised since the Wii U, i am personally not excited.

Now, imagine if SEGA randomly appears out of nowhere to launch a new console fitting the spaces that Nintendo are not filling anymore(interactive, handheld, FUN instead of DEPRESSIVE and FANBOYISM etc) with their new partnerships that look suspect and doing some partnership with idk too like Intel, and also having hardware for devcucks not boycott everything(yet being optimized and good programmed) together with their thing right now of paying millions to release Yuji Naka and bring him back and together with Sonic Team now making sense again and that supposed supergame they also revive stuff... And show the world the stuff that no one knows it is theirs, would be epic lmaooo and i think there is a chance it can happen, imagine if they make it be the real thing Switch never could be, an actual completely functional hybrid that also revives all the interactive stuff!

Also if I recall correctly the "supergame" initiative just refers to SEGA wasting their money on a bunch of gay live service games, the first one of these was that shitty Hyenas game from Creative Assembly that didn't even make it past beta testing. I think the next games on that list are the Jet Set Radio and Crazy Taxi revivals which will also bomb because absolutely nobody is asking for a Jet Set Radio game that's also a live service based on Fortnite.

I agree with the rest though, I really dislike the Switch, I don't get why they were so aggressive on the 300 dollar price point when it results in a system that's 1. Anemic as fuck 2. Has shit battery life and 3. Not even all that portable to begin with. Sure, it is true that modern developers are fucking retarded and have no idea how to optimize and write efficient code, but even if they did know what they were doing I don't think they could've done much with the hardware anyway. DOOM 2016 was a game that came out before the Switch launched and was made on a engine that's considered well optimized, yet the Switch port looks and plays like vomit. Because of that the only playable games on the device are indies (which you can play basically anywhere else anyway) or Nintendo games, which doesn't interest me in the slightest. Ideally I'd rather just see game developers just release their games on mobile devices, they're actually small, they're already far more powerful than Nintendo's shitty hardware, everyone already owns one and even if a phone can't run a game as best as it could, a couple years down the line it probably could.

I wish the PSVITA had more of a chance to succeed, it was actually portable, had great battery life, actually had graphics that weren't aliased up the ass, and had an interesting, if not limited lineup of games. Unfortunately Sony stopped caring about the system almost immediately and forced people to buy their retarded memory cards to do anything on it so it just kind of floundered. It's a much better system after Sony dumped it as now you can just use whatever MicroSD cards you please and freely download whatever games you want, but it's still such a shame it ended up the way it did

I think he is injusticed, i mean he could not completely do everything and look at his past works, people just nonsensically hate him. And i do not really mind him being like that i prefer it to "everything must be serious and ""commited""" thought of current thing, where they do not value the making of games and having fun itself but more about the gain, the supergame i mean the one for 2026

I still believe it will be good because that is what a real dev is, for sure for sure he is from another era and that also comes down with the thing of him not having much experience and having to learn more things, but i do not think he is anything bad as a producer and would do nice, the hate for him is just nonsensical and trying to villainize anything that goes away from the current meta
