From all new forums I've checked out the shlog is growing fast, of course this is helped by the fact its summertime right now so the growth will probably slow down going into September if things keep going as they are now (assuming no catastrophe like being taken off the top bar) but the ratio of users who register per day to online posters is more than good enough. The website could sustain itself as it is now without admin intervention which is good enough, the post quality is actually pretty good too, no genuine retards plaguing every thread and actual discussion goes on.

You're right though, it's correct soyspeak to type it shlog, otherwise we would've written scharty since the beginning too.

@Steve The personal reason for why I say Schlog is because I was learning German at the time and I got used to sh sounds as 'sch,' so that carried to my way of saying it. Don't be misled, though, Schlog has been used since the creation of the site.

All things considered it should be the Slog because there isn't an H in there anyways but you're splitting hairs at that point.
 
Honestly I find it funnier that there's a gajillion ways to name the site, from 'rum to 'log to shlog et cetera, and that nobody agrees on the correct way to call it.

It's a forum. 'rum is the apostrophication of the word forum.
Since blog makes 'log and 'log is already used to talk about the catalog, 'rum is the next best thing
