I really dislike being this kind of guy but they said the same shit in the '30s.
Tensions in the world have rarely been this high, and not because of a single event, but because of multiple events which on their own would have no impact, but that somehow chose the same time to happen.

Israel and palestine have been shitting on one another for decades now, but for such a raid to happen during the invasion of ukraine, during the breaking of North Korea's institution for the reunification of Korea and therefore the declaration of South Korea as the public ennemy state no1, during the first time in half a century that china's population starts to decline and tensions with Taiwan rise even more, during the peace in the Sahel breaking down, Iran edging war with Israel and being held back only by the intervention of the US...

I mean you get it, it just feels like every conflict in the world chose to escalate after covid on a grand scale.
I'm not saying something will happen, but I'm saying that it's probably never been as likely. The world is itching for the united states to look the other way
