yes, you shouldn't make other people suffer because of you, it's that simple

no? Me being atheist has nothing to do with having morals
Atheists cannot believe that objective morality exists, because if atheism/naturalism were true then there would be no source for objective morality to exist. To say something is objectively wrong is to claim that things are "suppose to" or "ought to" be a certain way. But without a designer to establish how things are suppose to be, nothing is suppose to be any particular way, it just is the way it is and it couldn't be any different.

The fact that you think morality does exist either means that there must be God as a source for that morality, or you are delusioned and your intuition is lying to you about there being some things which are truly objectively right and wrong.

Animals rape and kill eachother so raping and killing eachother is okay?
but we are on a different level than animals, many mammals do possess morality, it's that we're just one step above in the way that we can recognize what is objectively good and what is bad

You're atheist so saying objective morality exists is against your existence
Objective morality is an intrinsic human survival trait. The reason why humans and animals don't go killing each other all the time isn't because "muh God said so", it's because it's counterproductive to the survival of your species, therefore natural selection weeded out those traits which make an animal aggressive against it's own kind

It's also why independent religions which were created is vastly different times and places all had more or less the same rules (no killing, stealing etc) despite not being connected at all
