Somewhat. Really, if anything, it just helps you process information better and faster as well as retain the information for a longer duration, you're able to grasp concepts much easier and more quickly if you have a higher IQ and that's why they do so well in academics.

There's also the idea that people on a similar or equal IQ level get along better than interacting with individuals who are on a lower IQ than them, thus high IQ people tend to be lonely and isolated because there's less of them o algo.

Anyway, I don't think it entirely matters all that much personally.
