i only started doing them once i was prescribed adderall, which really fucked up my sleep schedule. often i'd go to bed at 5 AM and wake up at noon. it wasn't because i wanted to, i genuinely couldn't fall asleep most nights even after hours of tossing and turning. 5 AM is usually when i finally felt exhausted enough to sleep.
thankfully i am no longer on adderall but i still have nights where sleep is a challenge every so often. yesterday i went to sleep at 8 PM, wasn't hard to fall asleep. then i woke up at around 10:30 PM and it kinda felt like i was wired. now it's 1:26 AM and i'm bored out of my mind. i did manage to make a cup of coffee quietly enough so my parents didnt wake up at least.
