Hello everyone. I made this piece of shit thread about 3 years ago on /soy/.
The concept of negative dollars came to me while I was handling change as a cashier at my local grocery store. Recently I decided to reverse image search it because I'm a selfish little fuck so here's what I found.
This 2023 ifunny repost seems to be where it got the most traction. Check out those numbers baby!!! Likely the biggest impact I will have on this earth.

Another redditGOD. This one I wasn't even looking for. I don't remember how I came upon this subreddit but I found myself scrolling through it fascinated by this one guy who posts there daily screaming into the void. Suddenly I find my shit there. This one is very interesting to me because it has absolutely nothing to do with the original context of the image. He probably just looked up 'soyjak money'. It reminds me of when 'haha money printer go brrrr' caught on with normies in 2020 and some of their edits still had the ancap bowtie on the crying zoomer.
I've seen it in other places on the internet but these are the most notable examples. Post similar experiences if you have any.
