Yea, I usually have so many cherry tomatoes that some go bad by time I get to them, and sometimes there's no easy way of telling (especially when i just grab a handful and eat them).
Also when I was in 3rd grade I accidentally ate rancid turkey lunch meat for a few days because I didn't realize it had gone bad somehow
