I know LOTR purists hate the trilogy too, but they really are the best. There was just so much passion and respect put into those films. You can't make a 1 to 1 recreation of the books; they just don't translate into the movie medium well... Those were some of the first movies I ever watched, and I had no idea how lucky I was to get them. Now you have the Tolkien foundation sucking this shows dick despite it being the most disrespectful show to the books and they shat of the trilogy for 2 decades. I hate to soysperg, but its shitty seeing fed sponsored billionaires, sellouts, and activists come together to ruin good things.
