I like bulkier ergonomic and wired mouses, can't be bothered with changing out batteries. I've been looking at G502 Hero, ticks most boxes at a good price, although it has some rgb lighting which I don't like very much. I heard good stuff about Razer Basilish V3 X Hyperspeed too, looks comfortable to use, fairly simplistic and has minimal RGB lighting.Depends on your budget for the mouse, as well as your use case/preferences
If you just want some good mice, here are some that i think are good
Logitech G203: almost always on sale for around 25 dollars, has 3 extra buttons and lights, nice symmetrical shape but 2 of the buttons are intended for use by a right hand thumb
Logitech G305: Same as the G203 but wireless and no lights, usually on sale for around 40 dollars (neither are super lightweight)
Razer Viper V3 Pro: Super lightweight, 3 extra buttons but like 160 dollars, Logitech G Pro superlight is the exact same idea but by logitech
G502 X Lightspeed (what i currently use): lots of buttons, very heavy but the buttons are useful (no rgb because its like 20 more dollars for rgb on top of am already expensive mouse)
Gaming (mainly strategy games, and some DOTA. don't play much FPS so I do not care for DPI settings and whatnot) and productivity apps like Krita, Aseprite and GamedevApparently asking for mouse recs attracts child porn
@mischizo what are you gonna use the mouse for?
Basilisk looks good but I haven't done much research into itI like bulkier ergonomic and wired mouses, can't be bothered with changing out batteries. Don't know about the Razer software (while i would recommend looking into it) but the logitech software does have automatic profile switching for apps so you can have different keybinds for games and productivity stuffGaming (mainly strategy games, and some DOTA. don't play much FPS so I do not care for DPI settings and whatnot) and productivity apps like Krita, Aseprite and Gamedev
Just realized the basilisk x variant is wireless so that's a no go. Also found G502 X (non lightspeed variant) at a nice price point, looks more comfortable to use and is cheaper than hero, also it has no RGB so that's a big plus. Think I'll settle on that one, are there any huge differences with the lightspeed version that would justify paying extra?Basilisk looks good but I haven't done much research into it
G502 Hero and X are basically the same, G502X (the wired version) has slightly nicer switches and button positioning but if you want the cheaper one the Hero is on sale for less right now

If you can't tell i jerk off to Logitech
Nope, the wired and wireless versions have the same internals and switches, just a matter of which you preferThink I'll settle on that one, are there any huge differences with the lightspeed version that would justify paying extra?
they don't have any mouses with thumb rest, also the price is pretty high for what they offerI've heard zowie is good or something
