I haven’t thought about Hickman in a while, but from what I remember, the whole “body the same size” thing is this delusion he has that, from my interpretation, goes along the lines of: God sent down the Holy Spirit in the form of an incorporeal being that was identical to Bob Hickman’s own physical proportions, as to then possess Mr. Hickman by floating this being perfectly into his body and tying it to his soul, thus possessing him with holy wisdom and knowledge about the world. That’s what I think he’s trying to say, anyway, since he seems very heavily focused on how this spirit entered him. Obviously, in actual reality, he’s just possessed with the demon of schizophrenia.
