Schizo Astral Projection: Intentional Out-of-Body Experiences

Soyteen Liker

it's just getting started
As the title says, astral projection is supposedly a way to separate your physical body from your astral body to explore a hyper-realistic astral plane that is layered on top of this one. Here you can shapeshift, fly, teleport, et.c. Oh and the CIA says it's real.

The basic method goes like this:
1. Get into bed
2. Try focusing on your breath so your body falls asleep but not your mind
3. After you start vibrating, try leaping out of your physical body with your astral body.

There's many many variants such as using a sigil, using an alarm clock to wake you up early and then falling back asleep, rolling out bed with your astral body instead of your physical one, et.c.

What do you guys think?

That's literally just lucid dreaming. No need to put such a spiritual spin on it. I don't think that @baqqrih has to worry (unless the Scripture says something about dreams.)

This our secret Jarty goon technique, really though, we not giving a fuck, just having fun...

No, I'd say it's more than lucid dreaming. It's clearly intended as a spiritual act, for it wouldn't be called "astral projection" if it weren't intended to project your soul outside of yourself and the physical world. This sorcery can open the heart up to demons. The reason we are to stay far away from the occult is because our own, corrupted hearts are what conduct these practices. God can do all He that He pleases with the universe because, not only is it all His own creation, but He has the resolve and the perfectness to conduct whatever spiritual action He decides because His perfection is what disallows harm to befall anything that He doesn't will it to happen to from such actions. We, clearly, don't have that perfectness, so letting our hearts guide such chaotic practices, trying to move our souls around on our own, for example, will only put us at risk of sin. The Book of Jeremiah tells us:
>The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it?
You wouldn't let a drunkard drive your vehicle, so why let the wicked heart of man drive your soul?

I meant that what OP is describing seems to be the (mis)use of lucid dreaming for the sake of some kind of witchcraft ("spiritual spin"), which is sinful (because it is witchcraft accomplished by means of lucid dreaming); and that lucid dreaming used for more virtuous practices is not sinful.
