But basically, the government has subsided solar panels and batteries and shit so that rich people could buy them and generate their own personal electricity, which took off a bit of strain on the grid.
Electricity prices are up by 400%, reflecting actual market rates instead of artificially low prices.
New capacity generation has come online and is feeding into the grid
Corruption in the coal procurement process has been scaled the fuck down because the former president and his corrupt cronies are no longer in charge of it.
And lastly, it didn’t REALLY end, but here’s the gemmy part. The only areas still affected by blackouts are those with a lot of illegal connections and who don’t pay their bill. In other words, the government has shifted the burden of blackouts onto the non payers and the free booters. Municipalities are actually being billed for stolen electricity and are being forced to pay their back bill for the last 10 years LOL
