If you don’t want to add saging for some reason, at least add self-saging (which lets us reply to our own threads without bumping it, but can’t be used on other people’s threads). That way, I can make blogposts in my own personal blog thread without constantly bumping it and annoying people.
Note: I’m pretty sure Broot hasn’t said he’s against Saging and it is possible he is just to lazy to code it in; this thread is just to provide an alternative solution to anyone who feels uncertain about the prospect of adding saging.
Oh also you could maybe make it so that saging only prevents a thread from getting bumped to the “new posts” page and still makes it go up on the individual forums. That way even with saging more active threads can still be easily found but they aren’t constantly being pushed to the new page and annoying people
