The basic question here is: "Babies in the womb are humans who possess souls, yet we've witnessed many of our governments entirely permit their killing not only by a population of murderers who claim to be healers, but even by these children's own mothers who choose to be complicit in their killing as well (both are despicable), so, just as we would defend any other innocent, defenseless person from a serial killer through direct means if we had the ability (for example, if you saw, through an open window, a 5-year-old child being stabbed to death, you would probably jump in there and slaughter the killer to protect the kid), why not provide the same defense to these babies, since the only difference is that they've yet to fully grow into infants?" This is a rather niche topic on moral law that I've found interesting to read about. Here's two different texts, one from a Lutheran, the other from a Catholic, that have two different views on if violence is justified in defending the unborn. Thought you all might be fascinated by the factors that constitute morality and rightful justice in this sort of situation.
