Project A glimpse into what could've been

Spasoje's Revenge

Captain of ISS Kuprum
September's Winner

I have been working on this game on and off for almost a year. At this point I doubt I will go through with developing it. The soysphere in general seems to be on a decline, a lot of oldfags who might've appreciated and chiped in are probably departing. It feels like I started a project that should've been released half a year ago (which it could've had I been more industrious) but instead I waited and the window of opportunity, of optimal timing, has passed me. Even if I started working full steam now who knows what state the soysphere would be in for it's release. I don't want to sink time into creating something that's mostly motivated by previous ambitions, to be released in honor of a place that no longer feels like home. All that being said, if interest for it is higher than I thought, and if there's people willing to help me make it a reality in a timely manner, I will commit myself to it. I have absolute confidence in my ability to cobble together a gem, I have more than half of it already envisioned, the missions, the dialogue, the plotlines... all short and sweet, ~10 minutes in length. Different endings based on which missions were accomplished, failed, or ignored. 14 days for the player to complete the missions of his choosing so the game, of course, ends after 2 weeks.
This idea has had a year to ferment in my head, beyond lamentable to leave it unrealized, which is what motivated me to finish the desk section, so that there's at least something left of it in the likely scenario that it goes undone.

This game is actually the reason I joined the schlog, to see if there are any soyteens that could help me with drawing or writing, evidently I got my priorities mixed up and got a little too involved with delighting in schlog's community.
If nothing else comes of this, at least let it serve as a reminder: Sloth kills.

why is the soysphere deteriorating so rapidly? It seemed quite healthy when I was last really active in like april. How can we save it
