In recent days, I’ve noticed that many users of the Shlog/Schlog have been using two different ways of spelling Shlog/Schlog, one with a “sch” spelling, like in Schmidt or schadenfreude, and the other with a “sh” spelling, like in shuffle or sheep. While “Shlog” seems more obvious and correct (in my view), going alongside the theme of other such names, like Sharty or Shemmy, it would appear some also use “Schlog” as an alternate spelling, including Doll, who once proclaimed “The schlog is beating Shemmy’s pph”. Personally, I have found myself using either spelling. Which one do you use?

I only use schlog since its sounds almost like schlock which is funny to me

I mostly used schlog ‘cause the ‘ki mostly used the schlog and I wanted to go with the “most accepted” term to avoid confusion

I've been using schlog without even realizing I was using schlog, but it's the better way anyway.

They're both official, but I use Shlog because it's shorter

The board itself answers the question. Schlog xisters lost, sorry. smugjak

I changed the mentions of the 'schlog to "schlog" on the namefags page, so I guess I am partly responsible for that, even though I use both.
