that's not true I ran neovim with nvchad config and doom emacs on pentium m thinkpad in uni. Neovim didn't run smoothly it was laggy while doom emacs was ran perfectly. VS code would be completly unusable because the laptop was struggleing with firefox. Even on core2duo thinkpad firefox...
