I already knew about submerged. I like slam a lot, and this is very good slam at that. For some reason, I always found this style catchy and even soothing to an extent.
Also I already knew about this Odious Mortem song, but yeah for some reason this group really isn't my cup of tea, not saying it's bad obviously.
I know you dislike deathcore a lot, but the slam you linked reminds me a lot of the early stuff of Impending doom, a christian band that introduced me to extreme metal.
Suffocation is nice. Sounds like good normal death metal to me. I usually like faster paced music, but this is good.
Quo Vadis is nice. Day into night is nice but I think it lacks a bit of soul, I wouldn't go out of my way to listen to it.
Silence calls the storm, I prefer. I think it has more soul. Also, I love fretless basses. I don't know this album, I'll listen to it I think.
@Nihilma just discovered this band--what do you think of them? They're like old-school tech death. The mixing a little quiet so you'll have to turn your volume up.
The mixing isn't just quiet it's plain bad, some notes on the bass and the guitar are so poorly captured that I have a hard time telling what they actually are.
That said, kino, I really like this old school techdeath sound, might save that album tbh.
