However, over the next hour or so the washing machine would repeatedly shake violently, stop, and start shaking again after a few minutes. Several times I manually redistributed the clothes in the machine to make them more “balanced” (even tho they were already balanced), but it was to no avail.

Eventually the machine started practically bouncing around the house. It was the worst shaking the machine had done so far, and I was afraid that It would damage the home.

At this point I gave up on trying to finish washing my clothes and instead just lobbed them in the dryer. Imagine my shock when, 60 minutes later, I opened the dryer door and found that my clothes were just as wet as I had left them!
