I respect your opinion and politely disagree. I really like Chesnaught. What is your favorite starter, if you've got one? Now I am curious. Maybe I like yours.

Infernape or Empoleon. I was being purposely inflammatory, but I mean come on. Chesnaught just feels like a letdown in its line. The other 2 gen 6 starters are overrated but everyone knows why. Not even mentioning how it is in battle. Cool typing but it just doesn't work. Bulky grass types need a good second typing. Fighting just ain't it.

Also I take it back, the gen 8 water type is much worse.

Well I like Empoleon, so at least we agree there. I know Chesnaught isn't the most useful Pokémon, and quite honestly, it's not even my most favored Pokémon overall, though I do have trouble picking a single one, but I still like the design of it, the whole line, really.

I also like both Typhlosions and I like Cinderace. I know Cinderace also gets a lot of hate for being an upright jobmon and having tiny hands, but I've always liked rabbits.

As far as non-starters go, mostly going off designs alone, I like Floatzel and Helioptile/Heliolisk quite a bit, the first 4 Regis, Volbeat/Illumise, and everything in the Sneasel family. I used to like Buizel too, but the collective autism and retardation I see about it really killed it for me. How about you?
