I never disagreed with that point in the first place. My position was to challenge the leap from "the universe has a cause" to "therefore, the Quran is true." Vacuum fluctuation is not nothing, it is a fluctuation in a pre-existing space-time concerned with physical laws. But the argument is about the actual beginning of the universe. You have not explained where, in your view, space-time, quantum fields, or vacuum itself came from.
