On the sidewalk job his coworkers would smell like Coleman stoves when they were working hard in the sun, turns out every night they would do meth which they cooked themselves and used stove fuel as an emulsifier. He had a job building grain bins for a while, which is where he got his cancer (the smoke from welding galvanized steel is incredibly toxic). They ended up taking a sizable chunk of his brain out.

He actually is fine, I think it was around '03 they operated. Apparently the procedure is very invasive and has caused behavioral problems in other patients but everyone who knew him before said he didn't change at all. He wasn't operating at 100% beforehand because he did a ton of acid in the 80s so that might have something to do with it.

He also had a job working on communication towers, while he was fixing an antenna on a 1,500 footer one near an air force base a pilot buzzed pass him about 40 feet away. Apparently the shockwave knocked him loose but his harness caught him.

Another time he had climbed about 200ft and and saw a snake at the base of the tower that was half as long as the truck they drove there in. He called his coworker in the truck and told him to look back, and the guy got so spooked he jumped out of the truck and ran off.
