It's probably something you'd have to ask @Ballos about. He handles the technical stuff, like the Xenforo addons. However, I'd be completely in favor of upgrading the shoutbox. I just don't know what else could be added.

we could just use that xenforo shoutbox addon i suggested since it would be an upgrade if i'm correct some features of that addon can be enabled and disabled
