The J*rty's ppd is speeding up according to its own statistics (which may be unreliable). I don't think the J*rty has ever been close to 10% of the 'arty's ppd before. It's still absolute niggerhell, so it's not that its post quality is improving. I suspect the J*rtycvck memes are backfiring and giving the J*rty the free advertising it needs to recruit the coomers and degenerates it appeals to.

That’s not unexpected sadly. Only way to avoid it is word filtering.

I think a word filter would help, but its beyond that. I think it is bad that jannies allow links to be posted on /soy/ for the sake of "raids" even doe its clearly advertising and we don't even allow 'cord links to be posted. But at the end of the day most 'teens already know about the J*rty.

The issue is the J*rtycvck meme has transcended the 'arty and 'ru. When J*rtycvck videos are put on youtube or someone calls a coomer tranny on Xwitter a J*rtycvck, it advertises it. I think it's the meme itself that is the issue, and even if for some reason everyone in the soysphere agreed to word filter the meme and ban it, the cat is already out of the bag, and this only ends when the J*rtycvck meme dies.

It's one thing if the sh*mmy experiences growth or it dies and all of its users migrant back to the 'arty (both of which I think happen). They all mostly came to the sh*mmy from /soy/ to begin with and they weren't particularly hostile to the 'arty.

The J*rty on the other hand is 100% hostile to the 'arty and now many of its users could be coming from outside the soysphere. Whether they grow or die, it might be problematic.

It would be a blessing if someone got it shut down.
