Duterte certainly dealt with Marawi rather well for how unexpected such a sudden takeover was, so that was pretty good. His drug policy was also interesting, and probably decently effective, but I think a bit less encouraged brutality (a safer strategy like how Bongbong is currently conducting things) would have been better, as to avoid such ruthless amounts of slaughter from the vigilante death squads.
