Just draw what you want, imo. Don't try to learn perspective and anatomy on shit you don't care about. If you're like me you'll draw anthro girls until you eventually get good at it or something like that.

It's called repeat until mastery, and to do that your hand must not be stiff or the lines won't come out the way you want. Just try to draw circles and curves constantly, then you can start practicing proportions and anatomy if you want to go the realist route, or simply try to copy someone's style and be set, everyone does that anyways

Or just pioneer your own style, making it more and more detailed slowly along the way and keep improving on it.

Thats just taking from someone's style something, like shading and Lineart, and integrating it on your own style. Be real

True I guess, but everyone draws kind of uniquely, no?

You must learn the most fundamental principles in drawing: shapes, and to do that you must train your hand, wrist, arm, elbow and fingers to trace them as quick, smooth and swiftly as necessary, otherwise it will look like it was done by a Parkinson patient.
Chvd33p
Chvd33p
To begin with, draw circles, straight and curved lines, and zigzag lines, to lessen the stress in your hand, in other words muscle training. Don't do this and drawing will burn you out fast btw
>You must wait thrembo seconds before doing this again

Anyway, once you've trained your hand enough, start making simple objects like pots, fruits, books, utensils and the like, it will sound boring and cliche but the charm on drawing is noticing patterns and shapes. After that comes perspective but that's a pain

Since I'm lacking in that part I can't explain it correctly, I'll just tell you this: check books and tutorials for it, it's easier that way.
Also you'll learn about proportions when dealing with perspective, so focus on that. This part is where casual and failed artists are separated from the professionals and real artists

Perspective is awesome when you get it right or something like that

Btw all this is to cover what I call basic drawing, colouring, shading and lighting, and overall composition is intermediate to advanced drawing, so take it slow tbh
