Taxidermy is weird to me. I wouldn't like to have my pet's corpse in the living room, it'd be creepy.

that makes sense, i find it weird when someone taxidermies their own pet like a trophy or something but i like other taxidermy like taxidermy-ing a deer youve hunted or something

well i hunt for food because its easy and is less expensive, and deer meat tastes good and keeps the deer population in the area low, and im sure a deer wouldnt care all that much since its dead & doesnt have the same thought process as a human

But we're humans. We can recognize these concepts that animals lack. It's ok if a deer farts on it's mom's corpse because it doesn't know any better. If a human does this, he should know better, so he isn't doing it out of innocence but malice.
