Sparkles, I was reading a few Surahs tonight from the Quran in my spare time out of curiosity about Islam, mainly some Surahs that speak in wide-terms in reference to the other Abrahamic faiths, like my own Christianity, and while I was on the third Surah of the Quran, Surah Ali 'Imran, I came across an interesting statement very early on as I was reading through this one. No doubt you may already be thinking of it, it's the third verse (do you guys call the parts of a Surah a verse? I think I forgot the term for that if there is one), which states (I was using Quran.com, this comes from whatever the default translation is on there)
>He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
So, as I kept reading through, I was thinking back specifically to how it mentions that "the Gospel" (as in, the writings made by Jesus' followers to document His life on Earth) was given to us by Allah, confirming it to be wholly truthful. The thing that confused me is that, as I'm aware, the Quran does deny Jesus being God, a main point of difference between us Christians and your people, but, if "the Gospel" was revealed by Allah, would that not make all of the Gospel's verses also true, as they are in, say, my Bible? Hope I worded that entire question right. For example, there's a major verse in John's Gospel of Christ's life where it is stated that, in response to Thomas questioning Jesus on the way to get to heaven, Jesus says (this is from the Young's Literal Translation, so it's perhaps the most precise, literal wording of this verse in English):
>I am the way, and the truth, and the life, no one doth come unto the Father, if not through me; if ye had known me, my Father also ye would have known, and from this time ye have known Him, and have seen Him.
So, I just felt quite confused on what the Quran is specifically saying here about how it perceives the Gospel, and wanted to ask what you think of this, since you yourself are a Muslim and may've thought of this before in your own time. I don't want to call it a "contradiction", since I feel that would be a harsh, direct insult to you, and I don't like my words being perceived in that way, but right now, that's the only word that's coming to mind. Perhaps you have some extra knowledge, then, that could help explain this to me better than my mind can comprehend it, especially since it's rather late at night as I type this, and maybe my mind just isn't making a clear connection that solves this whole conundrum I have. Thanks.

ok so yeah you’re perfectly right, we do believe the gospel WAS right. but what we also believe is that the bible has been changed over time and therefore the gospel that you guys refer to now is “false”. my wording is really strong but it’s really not that deep because it’s the same rough message, but you ARE the people of the book. just like how the torah the jews changed meanings and found loopholes in crazy ways we also believe the christians tainted their religion which is why islam was brought as the final message.
but if you think about it, islam is based off of original christianity, judaism etc because it IS the same message. islam is just.. the last of our time. after islam there is no more prophets to come and pass this message because this signals the end of days. but there was thouuuusands of prophets before that had the same message including jesus and moses, abraham, noah, jacob etc.
idk if i went off on a tangent or if ive said it clearly but yeah what you said is right you’re just missing the fact that we ALSO believe that your books are now wrong. elements of truth but some bits completely tainted. not the fault of modern day christians but of other retards who sought to destroy your religion from the inside out, and greedy churches
 
anyway idek if i wanna be friends with my friends anymore. i mean obviously since they’re in school i will but im just so tired of everytime we hang out it’s just speakers with music and vapes and boy talk. can we DO something else?? like my other friend group we go places and buy books and eat good food and try out random games we’ve heard of but it feels like this friend group is just here to pass the time until we go to university

yes. sometimes one of my friends will say she’s a sigma as a joke and then the entire group starts making skibidi jokes. it’s weird cus we’re all girls who wear makeup and lashes and we aren’t the weirdo ones it just has us as a chokehold so we look normal doing it somehow

anyway im going downstairs to hang out w my mum bc i woke up feeling happy bc she saved me in my nightmare last night by tracking my location and saving me from the coach of men trying to kill me

yeah, literally . as someone who dresses modestly and wears the least amount of makeup and has refrained from music like i never did before, stayed away from drugs i don’t think im BETTER than them but it makes me uncomfortable.

i literally am them bc im in the friend group im just the mother figure of them, they say so as well. im the one who brings the chargers, the only one who packs my own lunch and packs extra for the hungry idiots who don’t pack theirs, im the one who has everything from scissors to nail glue and tweezers. theres diff roles in friend groups, i gotta be the more mature one

they were like normal teenage boys, white boys who looked like they were going to a summer camp. in the dream me and my retard friend sneaked on the coach it was pitch black outside bc we wanted to go on an adventure and next thing h know there r two twin guys with long blonde hair chained up bc they wanna kill the other guys and then the other guys also wanna kill us but there’s a big fat greek woman who looks like my neighbour who keeps us captive and i try to escape by baking a cake in the kitchen camper and she grabs my arm and then i turn around and they’re literally with knives about to murder us
so yeah avg white boys
