For me, it has to be Galicia, very nice area and culture, I am also biased because half of my family comes from there(other half is canarian and andalusian)

I used to obsess over Pomerania when I played ck2 a ton
idk why anymore, I'm not even from there but it was probably because I like their coat of arms as Gryphon is my favourite heraldry animal (I had a flag with the CoA hanging in my room), also it's hecking lost slavic culture and language or something

Huh, first time I've heard of that one.
They are Turkic and Eastern Orthodox people. Largely pro-russian unlike a lot of Moldovans and Romanians. There are a few more Turkic ethnic groups like this, the Yakuts and the Chuvashians for example. All of these are fully Orthodox and fully Turkic, I wish I was one of them tbh.

Yeah, sounds like your type of people. Do you think there's a reason for why they're more pro-Russian than other ethnic groups?

I used to like romania, not exactly obsess over it though

>tfw your entire culture, history, language, and identity are all succeeded by the only significant lasting impact of your people; being the breed name of a little dog

The Yakuts and Chuvashians are pro-russian because they live in Russia and were assimilated a very long time ago, the Russians started converting the Chuvash from Islam to Orthodoxy around the 17th century. Idk why the Gagauz are like that though. Most likely due to some conflict with the moldovan government.

I like Mesoamerican cultures like the Aztec and Maya, if I could learn one of their languages I would. They just sound so interesting

Tribes from Oasisamerica like the Puebloans, Aridoamérica like the Yaqui, and the Plains Indians like the Comanche. As for the Old World, it would have to be the ancient Spartans, Mongols, and Nordic Vikings

The Tarim Basin
Really like the history and culture
The place use to be inhabited by blonde and blue eyed Tocharians
The closest languages to theirs was Proto-Germanic
They had their own alphabet and were mostly Buddhist
But a constant stream of nomadic migration by Turkic and Mongolic peoples largely assimilated them into their own culture
They used to build pyramids and mummify their dead
Pretty cool people need to do more research on them
