How do you like your chickens cooked? My dad made a Turkish chicken stew with eggplants today that was delicious. It’s called Tavuk Sote.

Chicken? Fried, but I also like it grilled and sometimes in a curry if I want some good spice.

On NYE I went to a concert and the venue was a bar. Since I’m not 21 yet and the show was 21 plus I snuck in before the bouncer came and ate a really tasty cajun style fried chicken sandwich. Great show too, definitely the best New Years I’ve ever had.

When my dad cooks thicker steak cuts they always come out really good and juicy, but he often overcooks when he’s cooking thinner cuts. He does really good near eastern cuisine with beef, I always look forward when he cooks Persian beef dishes or something closer to the Mediterranean.
