You registered your account prior to today so you're alright. Those doomposting saying this will drive away people forget that we had a 16+ rule prior to this. I haven't seen complaints about that ruling (on here at least, the party is a different story), and as we've seen by the underaged bans, it hasn't stopped people from lying and coming here anyway. I'm not that concerned personally.
 
It’s probably just a thing that all social medias do where it asks for you age upon account creation and if bellow 18 it says no.
